This is the 4th computer i have bought from PC Specialist since 2008.
2 PC's and this is the 2nd laptop.
This is complete silent (solid state drive only) when doing desktop processing and the fan only kicks in when the temperature rises, and then switches off after a couple of minutes.
Nice light PC but with a sturdy screen with proper hinges... unlike the previous laptop bought in 2010 and the hinges pulled out of the screen after 4 years of careful use.
So it looks like the components are continuing to improve, and I am very happy with this laptop.
