Unhappy with Pcspecialists Service!

Over three years ago i spent £3700 on a top end tower PC from Pcspecialists. When it arrived i unpacked it only to find that the case was broken.
I admit this most likely happened in transit so i returned it, the components were fitted to a new case and it was sent back to me. On booting up
the pc wouldnt get past the windows starting screen so i was forced to reinstall windows. This i let slide as well and i did get 3.5 years of happy
gaming out of it, until it developed a problem recently.

As i game mostly on consoles now i decided its time to buy a new laptop from them instead costing me (£950). It arrived last friday which was well
within the 5 days fast delivery that i had paid for, so far so good. However on unpacking the laptop, i noticed that the component bay cover wasnt
seated properly and one of the hard drives inside was loose and rattling around. I unscrewed the bay, removed the cover, fitted the hard drive back
and reseated the bay cover properly.

On booting into windows, it didnt recognize my 2nd hard drive and i had to format it and set it up so windows could read it. So far the laptop seems to
be ok, however i sent an email to pcspecialists explaining what had happened. I was told that this happened in transit. However this is just not possible
as the bay is "SCREWED DOWN" and there is no movement in the bay that could have caused it to "Shake loose" in transit. It is quite clear that it was
not checked prior to being posted.

The most annoying aspect is i had no apology, rather than admit that theres a big possibility that it wasnt checked over the blame was put on the delivery
and no responsibility is taken. As others have said on these forums, when you are spending money such as this you expect a little more professionalism. Not
everything can be blamed on delivery. Im just glad i have the 3 year warranty, because if the rest of the setup is as sloppy as not even fitting a bay cover
properly, i may very well need it!

There is little point in getting back to their email because they obviously think they are infallible and they just dont make mistakes. However the undeniable mistake
that they have made is the fact i have recommended a lot of friends and business associates to Pcspecialists in the past which i will no longer be doing. I also
wont be using them for any future purchases either.

They have a very professional website with reasonable prices and a lot of options to choose from. Their finance options are good and the speed at which they
have the hardware set up in my experience has been good. However their customer service and attention to detail has been less than satisfactory.

I have my own business and i know all too well the importance of a good customer relationship and i take responsibility if any of my customers are unsatisfied as long
as they are being reasonable and have just cause for complaint! Something i feel Pcspecialist could do with learning!
