So my recently ordered desktop pc was a custom designed one. It came with 3 LED fans at the front of the case, 2 on top and 1 somewhere else. The 3 LED ones aren't being used or on. Anyone know how i can turn them on? i checked BIOS but couldn't figure anything out.
For the £1000-3000 price range it should be the 2nd case. Please respond if you know how i can use them? its simply a waste since they are LED.
I do apologise if i glossed over something i shouldn't have.
Here's a link to an image of the pc, it said file was too large.

The front 3 case fans aren't even spinning at all? Under any load conditions (e.g. heavy gaming / video editing / whatever you use the thing for) ?

I'd probably check to see if they're plugged in.

The case is a PC Specialist case, probably by Solleron, rather than general retail so I'm not sure how the fans are meant to be set up e.g. whether the case has its own controller built in, or what. You might call PCS and have them talk you through checking the connections.

Just to keep you updated, this was the reply. I will check the connection itself soon, but as far as im aware i do not have any of the following software installed.
Reply:

Usually LED issues are software or connection issues, have you been inside the machine to check for any loose wires especially if they haven’t worked from the moment you got the system.

The motherboard you have has a program called aura software/armoury crate please can you confirm if you have either installed on your system?

If it's not lighting up at all, it suggests they're not plugged into the motherboard.

If they were plugged in but had no software installed, they'd spin and illuminate but in one colour.

OK, so i just had a look, the fans weren't connected properly. They are now connected and working fine, however there are no lights. Im pretty sure there is meant to be. Any recommended software where i can check?

Downloaded it, but its only picking up on the motherboard not the fans.
Makes me think the fans aren't LED even though they were in the picture.

I'd contact PCS. It's possible the fans have a separate RGB header that needs to be plugged in, I'm not at all familiar with that case unfortunately.

Hey Kewb,

The fans on the front are controlled via a remote control that should be in your welcome box. Sadly they are not addressable.
