Yeah mostly gaming only, with some general everyday tasks etc.. and I need to buy a new monitor after I get the new PC, as I currently have a 24" Samsung Monitor/Smart TV and need a dedicated monitor really! Any suggestions on improvements to the choices here, bearing in mind I can't afford to go much higher than this with price. Came to £1,500 approx on the quote :)

I would drop the soundcard (try Onboard first), downgrade the gpu to the gtx 780 unless you are planning to play at 1440p resolution, caviar black as the secondary drive and downgrade the CPU cooler to the triple copper heatpipe.

Awesome thanks for your advice guys, shall certainly save me a bit of money with the adjustments. Plus I guess I can always upgrade later down the line if need be! Last question, either of you bought a built machine from PC specialist before, rather than just the parts?

They only sell parts for existing customers. We have bought our rigs from PCS and we are both very happy and satisfied with their quality and customer service

Ah ok I see, glad to hear that, hopefully will be ordering this PC around August, very excited for the upgrade! Cheers for the help and advice :D

It'd a long way, the spec posted is likely to change. You should seek advice closer to august, now is just too early. New components will be released, change prices, etc...
