just and fyi, you can actually fit two 200mm fans in the roof of the haf X :)

that fan controller is fine mate, 6 channels at 30watts each is more than enough. Im personally not all into touch screens but of you are then go for it mate :)

Just wondering what would give me better airflow?

well, I'd personally fill all the fan slots and include the two top 200mm fans. I also have two 580's and they do kick out some heat during long gaming sessions, I find its always a good idea to get decent exhaust fans in the roof, just to pull out all that toast air off both cards and the cpu cooler.

The good thing about the haf-x is, is you can have four big fans, bigger fans can spin slower therefore are much more quieter than smaller 120mm fans, as well as shifting alot of air.

Do i add a new cable into the fans then into the fan controller or do i unplug the fans and put them straight into the fan controller?

if your cables aint long enough, then you can get 3 pin extension cables, or 4 pin cables it doesnt matter. I've used 4 pin cables with 3pin fans and it work fine.

such as these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-CB...1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1355853173&sr=1-1-catcorr

If you want to connect two fans to one channel (eg like mine, two top exhausts are on on channel, etc etc) then I use these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-CB...computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1355853182&sr=1-1-fkmr3

both these cables are relatively cheap and they are braided black

Yeah, should be a simple matter of unplugging them, unscrewing them and then moving to the bottom bays (and reversing the process :)) I would make sure your cables reach easily first though (although I'm almost certain they will!).
