Upgrades?

Hi there, below is the order I’ve placed with PCS. Still in pre production but I just wanted to know do PCs offer upgrades on cpu? I am going with b450 however if PCs offer upgrades on that component I would happy to change it to b550

Hi there, yeah I know I can make changes during this stage I just wanted to know if PCS offers upgrades on CPU’s or is it only certain compartments they do? Thanks
Also any advice on this build? Bare in mind I've already changed GPU to 1660 super and motherboard is B450 rog strix
It won't allow me to post the amended build.

I am also pairing it with a 1080p 144HZ monitor.

You can upgrade the CPU to any that the board chipset allows through PCS.

The build looks good, the b550 is worth it over the b450

This reads to me as if you are asking about possibly upgrading the CPU down the line through the upgrade service, such as when the new CPUs come out in the future? Is that right? Or did you just mean changing the CPU in your order?

Hi there, I mean for future upgrades. It’s just I heard that b450 take a little bit more work if wanting to upgrade your CPU in the future

B450 only supports 2000 and 3000 series processors as it's an older generation, B550 is the new generation and will support 4000 series and possibly 5000 series.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking so I’ve changed my motherboard to b550 on my build. Thanks!
