i mean i use a 2070 super on 1080p but i dont play storyline games only esports game so prefer the higher fps

Thatt's a common misconception in gaming that just because your system produces 1000fps, it's somehow better, it's not, the maximum FPS you can achieve is determined by the monitor on a well designed system. There's no point pairing a 2070 Super for 1080p gameplay as your monitor will be the bottleneck so you'll only be seeing what the monitor can produce.

So you pair the GPU with the monitor, they go hand in hand. A 1660 Super is more than enough for 1080p 144Hz. Anthing higher than that just won't be used so is wasting money.

I do have a 1tb WD blue m.2 ssd that has my windows installed on it. I also do want a higher FPS and not have to buy a better gpu for a better monitor. I think I should get the rtx 2060 super. That brings it to 1190.

Also, what is the big difference between the Asus TUF VG249Q and XG248Q

This brings us back to the earlier discussion, have you tried 240Hz? Because literally most people on the planet can't actually see any difference over 120fps, there's literally no difference. Don't get drawn by these youtubers who play fortnight and say you need high fps because it's nonsense.

If you've tried a 240Hz monitor and know that you can actually see a difference then that's a different story, most people don't understand what FPS and Hz means.

I'm using 1080 144hz and it's really not I get much higher fps than what a 1660 super will give me any day on max settings in-game with 1440p on max settings I will not get the same fps as I do with 1080p. Professional gamers use 1080p 240hz monitors to get the smoothest game it really isn't a waste. I play warzone and get around 100 to 150 fps on max settings and 1440p will seriously lower that.

But that's the entire point, no matter what FPS your GPU can achieve, all you're ever seeing is 144fps as that's the limitation of your monitor. Hz = FPS.

So where you think you're playing at really high FPS, you're not. And there is absolutely no difference to your experience currently or if you had a 1660 Super.

Professional gamers reduce the resolution to 720p, and will have 360Hz monitors. Like I said, they are superhuman and can actually make use of it, that's why they're paid so much.

But I guarantee, if you were to reduce your GPU to 1660 Super, you would notice absolutely no difference, unless you're one of the 1% super humans in which case, you need a much better monitor.

This is all due to youtubers who've mistakenly proposed that you need highest FPS possible, it's nonsense from people who don't know what they're talking about.

Yeah i can only see 144fps but the 1660 super will not reach 144fps in Warzone the game i play where the 2070 super will get the extra FPS........
The 1660 supers get around 90-100 fps on max settings where mines gets up to 150.... and thats just one game

Yeah, but have you got all the settings on high? If so you need to optimise the settings, Warzone is notoriously badly optimised and the default settings are crap and need to be adjusted to get proper performance without affecting gameplay. Warzone is also more CPU based, so suggests perhaps your CPU isn't quite optimal?

yeah obviously all on high and I have optimized settings and my CPU is ryzen 7 3700x. I've looked at many other people using 1660 super and my friends have one they don't get the same FPS as me ever they get 90 to 100 I get around 130 to 150 sometimes 120

You only get 100-150fps on the 2070 Super on Warzone ? Is that on the max 1080p settings ?

You should be able to get 135 on high settings in warzone if it’s configured correctly with a 1660 Super.
