Upgrading UltraNote HDD to SSD or mSATA SDD?

Hi,

I'm interested in upgrading the 5400rpm HDD in our Ultranote laptops (6No.) but had a few questions which I was hoping to get answers here:

1. Is it better to replace the HDD with SSD or just add an mSata SSD?
2. Is the UltraNote mSata 2 or 3? If it's 2, what percentage reduction in published read/write am I likely to experience?
3. We have licensed software installed which can be a pain to transfer licences - If I replace the entire HDD and clone it will that negate the need to install everything again?
4. Which SSDs are compatible with this model? I presume there are 2 answers depending on whether I'll replace the HDD or supplement it with SSD.

The use case is: Business use, mainly cloud computing plus some locally synced data using Office 2010 and Adobe Acrobat mainly but with some specialist document management software.

Thanks in advance.
