I bought a couple new USB sticks and whilst making sure they work as they should for the speeds they are rated at (using crystaldiskinfo), I realised both of the ports on the right hand side of the machine are not performing as fast as the port on the left hand side. According to the specs, they should both be the same but the same stick will have a read speed of 150mb/s on the left port and only 40mb/s on both of the right hand port.
Any idea why that would be the case?
PS: The laptop went into RMA in the first year for an audio interface issue and I asked the PCS team to reinstall windows on their end with all configuration etc. so I trust this was done properly...
Device manager show everything working as it should, and all is up to date.
