USB 3 problem

Had a reason to re-install Win 8.1 and all went reasonably well until I took a look at Device manager and noted 'Other devices' had a long line of error icons.
USB 3 refuses to work and I've tried updating drivers from the Sabertooth x79 DVD that came with the PC with no success.

Appreciate any help.

The three things I have under the 'others' category I am sure relate to a UAD audio card I've got in my PC that I haven't installed the drivers for yet.
But you have a long list and USB 3 not working suggests to me something may have gone wrong with the Windows installation because that is what contains the USB 3 driver.
I'd try doing a refresh:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc
But that's what I'd do, someone else may know better.

Thanks for the speedy response Spuff.
Problem solved after much searching by downloading Intel® Chipset Device Software.

Ran the installation - rebooted and all is now good :sweatdrop:

Ah, good.
It's odd you had to because I had to download the USB 3 driver for W7 to make it work, but with W8.1 my USB 3 worked automatically.
