Never had this problem with any other computer, but my new laptop (win10) won't recognise my USB wireless mouse.

Any ideas why not / what to do?

Thanks in advance.

Just by plugging in the USB receiver into a USB port - which has always worked for on other computers and for other usb wireless mice.

Does Windows 10 require some sort of manual process do you know, e.g. installing drivers or some such?

I'm very surprised if so. Even my old Win XP just worked within seconds.

The mouse is a couple of years old at most.

It doesn't need drivers, but may well need re-pairing.
