Every other bluetooth connection in my household works no problem. I've connected bluetooth devices to my old PC (which sat in the exact same spot as my new PC), my laptop and Nintendo Switch without any problems so I'm doubtful that there's anything that could be causing interference. I've tried reinstalling and updating drivers for the bluetooth adapter but it hasn't helped. I'm running Windows 10.

Does anybody have any idea of what could be causing a low bluetooth range in this PC? Any help with this would be much appreciated.

How have you managed to buy a PC with a motherboard which has an integrated wifi plus a dedicated wifi card? I thought that specs configurator wouldn't let to proceed the purchase as both of these components have same function? Just to add, that the wifi card is N - doesn't have a Bluetooth and only supports 2.4Ghz (5Ghz not supported), while about the integrated wifi I'm not sure, but it's most likely the same as AX - so BT, 2.4 and 5 all together. As above, antennae will probably be the problem and if you really got a PC with both wifi, antennae may have been attached to the dedicated wifi card while you want to attach to the one which is integrated to the motherboard as it's the only one providing BT.

Have you got the antenna connected

I realised that this was the problem a few minutes after I posted this thread. A classic case of RTFM. :) Thanks!

Ah, I amended my order. Originally I had the WiFi card but then amended my order to change the motherboard and removed the WiFi card. When I followed the 'Post Your Spec' link it only showed the original specs so I manually changed them but forgot to remove the WiFi card. The PC just has a motherboard with WiFi, no dedicated card.

Ok, perfect! 👌 Seems it's been resolved now? How is it working? 🤔
