Very Quick Question!!!

Does anyone know if I buy a headset without a mic and play online games were I want to talk to friends eg - bf3, can I use an external microphone to talk into while using my headset for sound :/ ?????

I'm pretty sure that you can. You'll just need to configure where windows looks for the speakers and mic.
