Hi, I'm completely new to the site, and new to spec building.
I complained on facebook about how slow my laptop renders videos, and one of my friends (After an extensive talk) basically showed me everything, I was clueless.
He posted in the forum asking what would be best for me, and we got a few replies and went from there.
Basically at the moment I'm working on an Acer Aspire 5532 Laptop, duel core with 4gb ram. It's terrible. What I need desperately is a good, reliable desktop, primarily to edit HD videos, and game in my spare time. Gaming isn't a priority for me, it doesn't have to be perfect. I'm still out of my depth but I'm trying hard to understand everything. Here's what I have so far
