Video Editing, Music, and Games

Hey, guys. I'm looking to build a PC with a budget of £500 to £600 max. I've never built one before, so I don't really know how to get the most out of the hardwares potential. I intend on using it mainly for music, media production & video editing, but I'd also like to run a few games on it smoothly (Dayz if possible). I guess I'm looking for an all-round media PC. I hear that an i5 is the best processor for this kind of job, I don't know. Preferable to have all components located on a single site that would be better. All input is greatly appreciated, cheers.
