hi there can the viper 3 support 2x 8gb ram sticks?

Clevo p180hm specs (Thats what a Viper III is) state:
Memory:-
Memory Type: Supports DDR3
Number of Modules: 3
Maximum Supported Memory: 12GB
At this point I would have to say no, however PCS have hinted that a newer model is coming out sometime next year which can support 2 x 580m SLI or 2 x 6990 Crossfire, and that model may be able to, however we won't know this until PCS give us the info. Can I ask why you are looking at 16GB of RAM as an option? I have 12GB in my Viper III and it's overkill (Most laptops/computers run with 8GB and still don't use it all), the only reasonpeople go for more is when doing sound and/or video editing, with gaming the GPU handles most of the stuff now.
