Viper II - i3 or i5 ?

This will be my second purchase from PCS after such a positive first time effort and just in time for chrimbo......

The question is do I go for the i3-370m (2.4Ghz 3mb cache) or the i5-460m (2.53Ghz 3mb cache)......

The rest of the spec is 4gb of ram, 1gb video card and 60gb SSD.

Is it really going to make THAT much of a difference in performance if I spend the extra £47 to upgrade ?

Nope.

Core i3, compared to core i7, yes.

What will you be using the Laptop for?

If you're planning on general home/office use then the core i3-370 will be suffice.
