viperIII light sensor

Hi people i have a viper III gaming laptop. My problem is the light sensor that dimms the screen when it senses shade. Can i turn it off help!!!!!!!

Try in the System Settings menu, Eco and turn Light sensor to off

Its possibly in power options in control panel.
