Vortex 2 random shutdowns

Hi all,

I am experiencing issues with my new laptop I gave a vortex 2 with a i7-2670
After getting the laptop back from pc specialist (repaired after it was dropped)

I am experiencing problems when I play rift on low settings the game will start fine but after about 10 mins normal questing the laptop switched its self off! It's worse if I'm in a war front or instance it lasts about 5 mins!!! And happens again and again. 5 times so far tonight.

It never used to do this when playing wow or skyrim on ultra settings, only since I got it back.

It is used on a flat table doesn't feel hot the fan sounds abit loud but no more than it used to.

I do hope Sonebody can advise what I can check or do!

I work away from home most of the week and it's the only thing that keeps me sane!!!

I'm having similar problems with my Optimus II. I believe it might be a memory problem for me - if my testing tomorrow bears any fruit I'll give you a shout.

I'll be using Memtest86 as I've been told to do so by many people.

Not looking forward to seeing that it is the RAM and sending my laptop off... I've got 4 weeks of exams coming up and will need my laptop every day ;_;
