The current vortex laptop doesn't have a backlit keyboard option. There will be a new chassis coming that will have backlit though. But it will be expensive but it will be a beast. Here is some info on it:

Don't worry, the current vortex II is a great laptop. What spec did you get?
I agree, it is a great laptop - would just be better with a backlit keyboard as some of the rooms I work in are a little dark. I've ordered a clip on LED for now but it'd be good to know if this laptop will have the option of upgrading to a backlit keyboard...do you know?

Wow, that looks like a beast. What are you going to be using it for? I would consider getting a 580m. Maybe dropping the SSD size or CPU one notch to afford it? What will you be using I for? These are only minor things though, that honestly does look like a beast.
