Vortex II - Fans constantly running loud

Lo chaps, recently the fans in my Vortex II have been running very loud constantly. Even when completely idle (nothing running, lid closed) they'll still run loud. Temps are fine - I'd expect them to be loud under load but not when the temps are this low. I'm using the laptop on a glass table top, so no problems with immediate blockages. I have to send my laptop to sleep whenever we're watching TV as it is too distracting. Apart from that it's running like a beaut

Seems to have sorted itself out, changed a few startup programs so might have been one of those.

The fans are now running smoothly like they were before

Hi, how did you get the fan noise to quiten? Mine sounds quite loud when I'm gaming but then I'm clicking very high temps

Not entirely sure. They do run loud when gaming as there'll be a lot of heat pumped out. My problem was that they were at full blast when the laptop was idle.

No idea what made it stop, went on for about a week then all of a sudden back to normal.
