Hey guys, recently got a new laptop from pc specialist . I updated my ati drivers for the 7970m straight away. I Installed tomb raider recently but it only seems to be picking up the 4000 hd in the options and runs pretty bad. have tried putting to max performance in catalyst but still the same. is there a reason its not picking up the 7970m?

Thinking in terms of basic troubleshooting, does the card work with any other games? you can monitor your card with this tool. If it doesn't then there might be a problem with the drivers, in which case it would be worth updating / reinstalling them. Make sure you do a manual system restore point before updating to any beta AMD GPU drivers.
