I bought a Vortex III 15" with backlit Keyboard a few months back and while I'm overall very happy with the unit, I find the keyboard to be pretty bad at registering keypresses. I type at a pretty high WPM being a software developer and I find that my errors on this keyboard are drastically higher in quantity than they are on other laptops/desktops I have.
I have found that the spacebar is notorious for not registering keypresses. I can say with certainty that the corners of the spacebar never register key presses.
With other keys I press the keys till I hear a "click" sound of the keys bottoming out, however, in about 1/20th of keypresses, no press is registered on my machine. This leads to a large amount of wasted time having to track back and fix mistakes.
I'm wondering if this is a problem that anyone else has experienced or if it's A) a hardware issue or B) my typing style. (This is not the case with the spacebar which 100% of the time misses keypresses in the corners)
Thanks
