Been happening for the past day or two and is a constant loud noise from the moment I turn the laptop on till I turn it off again, I've checked the temps and nothing is abnormal (even to touch).
Seems like my problem was as simple as a dust build up......shame on me!
I had a lot of dust stuck on the inside of the exit grills right next to the fan, I opened the case up removed both fans (cleaned them) and then cleared all the dust out of the exit grills (I just took a deep breath and blew a few times). Put it all back together and fan noise was back to normal.
