VR PC and all the trimmings for £2K?

Hi all,

Just wondering if a budget of £2K could get a VR PC that delivers 4k gaming with decent FPS, also including a 4k monitor, mouse, keyboard and an Oculus headset and controllers? Would prefer going the Nvidia route rather than AMD.

I understand this may be a tall ask and might not be doable so if not, what would be the cheapest spec for the above?

Thanks!

Decent 4k monitor will set you back around £500
Oculus I believe is around £400?

4k gaming with decent FPS may be doable on such a budget but it won't be with the eye candy on. All out build with all the bells and whistles would be closer to 3k IMO.

New GPUs & Processors are just around the corner which may edge some of the older tech prices in your favour but there's not really much corner cutting to be done with 4k gaming right now.

This. This, this this. :)

GPUs are out from 20th Sept and CPUs probably not long after.
