could be dispatched today as well

We use DPD as our courier and they show up twice a day, around 12 o'clock and again at about 4pm, so depending on when exactly a system is ready, we can dispatch it with the earlier or later van. Normally DPD should send you guys a confirmation once the parcel is scanned in on their end, around 6 - 6:30om-ish. Then you get the tracking number as well.

People living in what DPD decided is UK Mainland get their parcel the next day, but places like Northern Ireland or Scotland can take longer.

Well I think our two systems have been overtaking each other at numerous points in the process, you ordered on Friday, I ordered on Saturday, mine went into build on Monday, yours did on Tuesday, yours then went into test on Tuesday, followed by mine a short time later, mine has come out out of QC and testing at lunchtime today, hopefully yours will follow soon. I've now got the DPD tracking link (though it never shows anything til much later in the day - ie . when it's at the DPD depot)
So I'm expecting delivery tomorrow, if yours finishes QC successfully before the cutoff time (no, I'm not sure when said cutoff time is) yours could be dispatched today as well (and its a next day delivery service - unless you're not in the UK mainland)
Yes i think so as well , i do like the process the PCS uses to show the status , it just is like waiting for Christmas to arrive though every step forward seems to take so long when in reality it is super fast for the task they are doing. Still in testing for me so potentially Friday delivery if i am lucky. If you have received your tracking number id say could be tomorrow extremely likely on Friday

So what happens if you pay the 3 Day Dispatch Fee of £59 does that mean less time testing? and more chance of problems

No, it means you jump the queue and they build, test, and dispatch it within 3 days.

NB it's not always possible (usually is but not literally 100% of the time), and where it's not possible they provide refunds.

tbh £60 is quite a lot and I'd probably be tempted to invest that into hardware - especially with lead times currently being quite short anyway. :)

Hi your right great words of wisdom mate so know I'm thinking what can i improve for roughly that amount or just get MS Office installed for the extra lol

A little update on day for for me (no early shipping etc or fat track) My item left testing and moved into awaiting dispatch at 7.20 this morning. According to PC specialist DPD pick up takes place at lunch / afternoon so hopefully it will be dispatched today and arrive tomorrow with a little luck. Orered Friday using finance so 4 days lead time if you ignore the finance processing.

We seem to be in the same boat. Out of testing at 7.50 this morning. If it was dispatched today to arrive tomorrow it would be perfect, but I'm not "UK Mainland" apparently, even though I'm in Scotland :p . Will see what happens.

Yeah dispatch today should mean delivery tomorrow unless you're somewhere in Scotland that DPD consider will take longer to get to (or elsewhere in Europe) like @Durin_VII where it may take longer (blame DPD for this).

Oo nice ! What was the total lead time for you ? I think from what it sounds and how it has been we hit the timing perfect this week probably when everyone is on holiday so the builds been really quick. Was expecting around 2-3 weeks when looking through others wait times on the forums. Honestly thought Scotland would be mainland! Its funny because where i currently live in Hertfordshire is probably further away from PCS (based in Yorkshire) if i am correct than you in Scotland are (providing you dont live in the very North)

I ordered on Saturday, was processed on Monday, testing over Tuesday and Wednesday, then awaiting dispatch today. I'm impressed.

I'm in Dundee, which isn't very north, it's just a bit further north than Edinburgh on the east coast, but nowhere near as far north as Aberdeen or Inverness. I wasn't able to do anything other than the standard 3-5 days when ordering and couldn't choose a quicker option. Dundee is most certainly not the highlands, but I don't know how PCS or DPD look at it.

@Durin_VII have a look at your order/invoice again and scroll down to "Delivery". If it says something there along the lines or UK Mainland, like "STANDARD INSURED DELIVERY TO UK MAINLAND (MON-FRI)" you get it the next weekday day :)

Yes, I think when I first attempted to place my order I had put Saturday delivery there and it said based on my postcode I couldn't.
But, I got DPD tracking information today, so it will arrive tomorrow. Perfect :D .
