Webcam stopped working Optimus V

Hi all

My in-built webcam on the 17.3" optimus V was working fine until xmas day to be exact when skyping my family, and now it is not being recognised at all. I've tried to update drivers using the usb stick provided at purchase but it says Device not found please install it before updating driver.

Please help!

And check the status of the Hotkey driver software, if the webcam is disabled via Hotkey (which is what F10 does) it disappears from Device Manager and is thus not present to Windows. You might even want to check for a later version of Hotkey.
