What brand GPU does PC Specialist use for the 8GB AMD RADEON™ RX 5700 XT?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate?
Any reason you’re opting for AMD over nvidia for gpu? Are you aware of the ongoing driver issues with AMD GPU’s?

I'm not entirely sure. This build is for my partner. I currently have an i7-6700k with an evga 970 and I can run some pretty impressive games for what I do!
I was intrigued by the Ryzen so I thought I'd give them a shot with the 3800x and thought pairing it with an AMD GPU might be a good option? Hence why. Would you stay away from AMD GPUs? If so the next one I'm drawn to is the 1660Ti, more specifically this one - https://amzn.to/2xMvd4p but I'm not sure if this would be the one it comes with if I select it on the configuration

So that’s a 4k screen, to power that you’d need a minimum of a 2080 Super.
GPU’s are independent of processor so either manufacturers performance will be the same with either manufacturers CPU. AMD have had ongoing driver issues now for about 8 months causing a multitude of issues, I would personally avoid. Price to performance there’s very little in it between AMD and nVidia on equal footings so that’s not really a concern.

For nvidia they usually use palit and zotac. The model can vary depending on stocks at the time. If you want some more definite answers then you’d have to call and ask what model they’re currently using.
you can also select “have my own gpu” in the configurator and source your own if you want a particular manufacturer.

Yes, the Ryzen 5 3600 is the optimum for gaming anyway, especially at higher resolutions. But for editing, the 3700x would be a better choice, but either way you need the 2080 Super.
