What do i do?

I just got my order for my computer upgrades. I open the box to find that they sent me a Razer black widow with the glossy finish and blue backlighting. I ordered the one for £119 and i thought this was the one with matte flinish and green backlights with 15 programmable settings has PCs sent me the wrong one or is it me that ordered the wrong thing?

My order says - Keyboard & Mouse Razer® Black Widow 2013 Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Edit: I also was told my hard drive i bought would come with cables but it didn't and i have no way of connecting it.

Hey there!

I don't know what to say about the hard-drive cables, however I know that PCS does state that the pictures are just used for illustrative use, and may not be 100% accurate to what you order. Now if I'm correct, the Razer Black Widow Ultimate in green is not sold in the UK, and instead is sold in blue.

When you are ordering expensive and high end PC parts, it is vital you do research as to the parts you are buying, and where you are buying from. I'm very sorry to hear you didn't get what you expected. You could search the website for refund policies? You could send them back and/or buy them from a place that sells the exact models, such as a green razer keyboard.

I hope this works out for you and you eventually get your dream upgrades! :)

The one i bought off PCs says it is the matte finish one. The colour doesn't bother me too much so if i have to have blue that is fine but i really would like the matte one as its the one i paid for.

Ive spent 2 months waiting to buy this order btw. Alot of research was done.

if you bought the 2013 edition then it should be green lighting.

If you bought the 2012 edition then it should be blue lighting.

If its wrong, then I would contact PCS

i ordered the "Razer® Black Widow 2013 Ultimate Mechanical Gaming Keyboard" It cost £119 and said it was matte black. Is there any other way of contacting them as im working from 8-6 tomorrow. I really dont want to have to wait till monday to just start speaking to them.

They are also available to phone on Saturdays 9am - 1pm

As Tom said, but bear in mind that email responses can take a bit longer, as PCS prioritise answering the phones over emails (at least that's what I heard).

ah well if its blue, looks like they sent you the wrong one. Give them a bell when you can and im sure they will do a straight swap :)

Thanks guys i have sent an email but i will just phone them on monday unless they are open on sundays?

Will i have to pay the £12 postage fee again?
