What do I want?

Looking for some advice and guidance on the most suitable products and options to help me.
I work for a media production company, and we're developing ideas around the installation of PTZ camera systems that can be installed in client offices/studios and used to capture corporate content. We're seasoned in the use of PTZ's on-site at events etc, but we're seeing if we can come up with a fixed system that be fully remotely operated and allows us to retrieve the video files from.

Gut feeling is that we'll need a PC in the mix at the root of things to make this work, as well as a VPN that will allow us to access and control the PTZ cameras remotely. Other desirable features are Wake On LAN for the PC so that it doesn't need to be running at full whack non-stop, and we would most likely register the device within TeamViewer for us to be able to control and access.

(Note, I'm not a network engineer, programmer, IT specialist or cyber-pro)

Before I get into the weeds on all of the mechanics of this, is there anybody here that's likely to have some advice on how we can best explore what's needed to make things work....or......is this simply the wrong place to bother trying?

Any friendly comments are welcomed and helpful.

We can only advise on PCSpecialist builds, but at this level, I think you really need to speak directly with PCS as they're far more knowledgeable on server configurations.
