it's a really good start mate, we can tweak it a little to optimise it though. What is the machine being used for and I see 32GB of RAM, is he playing anything specific or doing anything specific that would require that amount?

Hey nothing crazy GTA, cyberpunk, flight sim and things like that.
Gaming will be what uses the most.
Is it overkill?

32GB of RAM would be recommended in Flight Sim to be honest but most other games wouldn't use that much. It can be tweaked to optimise it a little let me try for comparison

I've tweaked the case, motherboard and storage to give you a little more. Case for better airflow, motherboard to suit the CPU but the B550 STIXX is also a viable option if you prefer that. I know the fanless design and low latency makes it a very attractive option for audio work.

Went for two M.2 for faster storage

Thanks for the input a few questions.

so having a wifi motherboard is that just taking away the need for a wireless card?
you have opted for the 1000w RMx is there a particular reason for this?
2k would be my max but really looking for 1700-1800 would be ideal then wont have to wait to get monitor

you both went with a case without a DVD drive, what advantages to you get from the case?

If you're happy with the aesthetic of the Focus-G you won't really do better for airflow. It's a cracking bit of kit for the money but it just ain't the prettiest.

DVD drives are very much a thing of the past for most people. This is the reason most cases no longer support them. Those that do require them use them so infrequently that a USB3.0 drive is a better compromise.

PSU has you covered for any beefy upgrades.

I would personally opt for the Capellix cooler just now, just because it can be upgraded with an LED panel. With a few other tweaks I'm not really saving much to be honest haha.

Yes having the Wi-Fi on the motherboard means you don't need a card taking up one of the PCIe slots
The reason for the 1000W PSU is to give you plenty of headroom for future upgrades (I run one of these myself)

you both went with a case without a DVD drive, what advantages to you get from the case?
Very few cases have DVD drives in these days as it impedes airflow and thus cooling
