Just for light gaming, Modded Minecraft, stuff like that. Just a Samsung 22” Monitor. I’m not sure on the refresh rate.

There is a website called UserBenchMark where you can compare graphics cards might be useful to have a look around to see if any other cards compare well or better for the same price.

Interestingly, my GTX 970s that came out in Q3 of 2014 have a higher score than the GTX 1650 which came out Q2 2019.

Price wise? The GTX 1650 is £134 and the GTX 970 is £174...970s are £100+ on Ebay, which is frightening given their age.

Userbenchmark or cpubenchmark or any comparison site like that is built on sham values for things that don't make any sense in real world performance and should be avoided at all costs. When Ryzen 3000 hit the market, obviously they smashed Intel all over the place, so these sites adapted their valuations to put Intel back into being the high performers, it's complete garbage and no one who knows anything about hardware uses them:

The ONLY place to get worthwhile data is from 3rd party reviewers who do actual benchmarks with real software packages.

It lists FPS in games as a comparison for GPUs.

Make up your own mind and use it as a launching platform to go find out more about alternatives that may fit your needs and be of similar value.
