What does the Deposit Mean?

Ok call me dumb but pls can you help me and explain what the deposit means and how it works. Also what do you think of the PC im buying? (Its my first Gaming PC).

you only need to pay a deposit on a finance pc, so you pay say £100 at the start then the rest over a period of time, otherwise no deposit as you pay all in one go

Are you sure you read it right? Normally it says something like 'total of £901 inc VAT and Delivery' (rather than deposit)

Or are you looking at finance options where a deposit would be required?
