What Happens If....?

Hi Folks

Re: What Happens If....?

I've read some magazines and visited a few websites, so I think I've now got the right desktop PC spec' in mind. When I subsequently got to the online Check-Out at PC Specialist's website, I was asked to enter my card details to pay the £180 deposit, before being asked about any details regards my intentition to purchase using finance. No problem ...but what then happens to that deposit if I am subsequently declined for finance on the remaining £1,330?

Kind Regards
Emmily

Hmm not sure I know the answer, I would assume you get it Bck but don't quote me on that. Best thing to do is go on the live chat with them found on the home page, they should be able to help :)

From previous threads around this topic, you'll get it back. This of course is better confirmed with Online Support (or a friendly Admin that happens to pop on here), but I think they would be hard pushed to justify retaining a deposit in that instance. /awaits more learned assistance :)

Yep from everything I've seen and can remember about my own finance agreement, you get it back, but it may take a good few working days for it to get back to you. You should *always* read the small print mate. I know most people don't when it comes to the majority of things but when it comes to finance agreements, just spend the time to read them, you'll only get stung or confused if you don't!

I had a similar arrangement with Rock laptops - went into a finance thing with them, paid the deposit and they messed me about with the order so cancelled the order and the finance. Got my money back.
