What is this please?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is connected to the motherboard and what it’s for. It’s just 2 wires going to a round thing? I’m new to this so learning as i go.
motherboard is a Asus TUF Z360 plus gaming I think.

That is the internal speaker, where the beeps come out of when you have MoBo POST Issues.

I commented on the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

It is just left hanging off the MB due to not having anywhere else to go. No problem with that but mine was originally wedged between the base of the case and a drive cage so I had to free it. I put a bit of blu-tack under mine and stuck it to the base of the case to prevent it moving.


In older builds, they fitted a longer cable. My old PCS PC has it fitted in the front of the case.
