When will the i7s be back in stock

Ha, yes - though depends on whether they decide to add more length to it.

I have a laptop on order and very much looking forward to it arriving. On 11th working day now and in pre production still all due to the i7's not turning up in the volume as PCS would like I suspect.

Keeping fingers tightly crossed, my wife is off out for a hen night on friday and a new laptop would have been a good excuse for staying up late to wait for her to come home. . Forever the romantic me!

I got an email this morning advising ETA of today but havent heard anything since and still stuck in pre-production. Mines i7 QuadM 4710MQ (2.5GHz) 6MB

i7 5500u is the one i'm waiting for, they probably all been snaffled by Apple

They will be indeed. I think all chassis are now being upgraded to skylakes.
