Where is my MICROPHONE? - Vortexx III (Non Elite)

I have recently bought a Vortex III laptop from PC specialist and would like to know where the MICROPHONE is.

By this I mean do I have and if I do how to I activate my IN-BUILT MICROPHONE that I am sure the computer has. I want to use it to talk to people on Skype/Teamspeak but I'm not sure if I have accidentally pressed the "Mute" button for it, or I haven't turned it on, or do i simply not have one?

Any quick help to I'm sure this "basic" problem would be greatly received.

Thank you!

You can also ensure via the RealTek HD Audio manager and also windows control panel that it is working correctly.

Would you mind giving it a test mate? I am ordering the vortex this weekend. I'm also after a good headset and I rather have a wireless without mic if I can get away with using the inbuilt one for ingame comms (battlecom).

Thanks

It sits just above the touchpad Built in Microphone.

Ensure you have installed the Realtek HD drivers.

I can't find the Realtek HD audio manager and also can't find it anywhere on the control panel. Please could you give me a step by step of how to get it for me please? This is really bugging me but it should be so easy. I have gone to: Start>Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> then I don't know where?

Shouldn't they be installed automatically? As in when my laptop was built? I am using Windows 7 Home Premium by the way.
