Which gfx????

For playing world of Warcraft, which card will give me better results, gtx 770m or hd 8970m, I have a 1gb hd 6870 that gives me 40fps on desktop with high settings, looking to beat that, any help plz

770m looks to get about 45 fps average on ultra, the 8970m should be looking to get about 60-65 FPS

Those numbers are just a rough guess but comparing the raw performance numbers from http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html to get a rough equivalent desktop card, and using that to loo up benchmarks for WoW.

I'm saying the 770m is roughly equal to a 650ti and the 8970m should be roughly in line with the GTX 660(perhaps a little under)

So if your looking to get a better experience than the 6870 it will have to be the 8970m

When I was investigating what to get for my laptop 8970m came second only to the 780m. I'm not sure why the 770m is slightly dearer than the 8970m in the the system config. 780m seems to be the best but it's a good jump up in price. Too much for me.
