Which Graphics Card do i need???

Hi, I was wondering which graphics card I would need. Preferably the 1GB one as it is cheaper but if the upgrade is necessary then I will accept that. The options are:
nVIDIA GeForce GT 540M - 1GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX 11

or

nVIDIA GeForce GT 555M - 2GB DDR3 Video RAM - DirectX 11

I am going to be using this for CAD, media and a little gaming but not series gaming. My main use would be CAD though, esp 3D modeling.

The 555m would be approx 25% faster than the 540. They are not super powerful cards anyway so i would recommend getting the best you can afford. The 555m is approx 1/3 the speed of a 560ti for a desktop which is what you would be looking at to get a decent mid range gaming desktop.
