Which specs are most appropriate?

Right so I'm tied between these two different builds
please let me know which one you think will be more suitable towards a computer that I will be using for video editing for youtube videos

Build 1
Quad-Core Intel Core I7-4770
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745M, 4GB
2TB Hard Drive + 60GB Solid State Drive
16GB RAM

Build 2
Quad-Core Intel Core I7-6700
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
1TB Hard drive
12 GB RAM

Are these both laptops - one has a laptop GPU (and your last thread was about laptops as well)?

The gt745m is a laptop graphics card.

It's better to post your budget and then post full specs, easier to work out bang for buck. The first of those builds is a 4 year old laptop with entry level specs and I'm not convinced it's a pcs build.

Bear in mind we can only advise on PCSpecialist builds, not on self builds or second hand competitor builds.

Which is best for video editing? Desktop or Laptop?

please bear in mind my budget is up to £750 maximum
I will need to be doing video editing for YouTube videos that will include some effects
I need to know how it would perform in terms of rendering and video playback using software such as Sony Vegas or adobe premiere pro
