Wi-Fi Drop outs

The card I got with my PC is the WIRELESS 802.11N 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD
Sometimes my Wi-Fi will just drop out for a second or two, its quite annoying.
Is there anything I could do to fix this?

The first think to do is to go into the Power Management tab of the adapter properties and ensure that the 'Turn off this device to save power' checkbox is NOT checked.

WiFi is very sensitive to electrical interference too, even a florescent light tube starting can affect WiFi, as do cordless phones, microwave ovens, and any other WiFi devices you might have. If you're not already using the 5GHz band then try using that, the 2.4GHz band is much more sensitive to interference.

Also make sure you have the latest driver installed for your Wireless card.
