Hi, hoping someone might have some ideas. I have a one year old desktop which has been having wifi issues for the past couple of weeks. If the PC is allowed to go into sleep mode, I lose wifi connection almost completely or it slows to a crawl. Restarting fixes it- until the PC goes to sleep again.
When it cuts out I get dozens of the following errors in event viewer:
6062 - Lso was triggered
5007 - TX/CMD timeout (TfdQueue hanged)
Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : Has encountered an internal error and has failed.
Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly.
What I've tried so far to fix it:
-Turned off 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' in power management settings
-Uninstalled wifi adaptor and restarted PC so that it reinstalls drivers
-Tried rolling back to previous drivers in case windows update did something odd
-Replaced default drivers with latest Intel ones
-Run the troubleshooter- it finds nothing wrong with the connection or device
-Virus and malware scans, disk cleanup, defrag... (sheer desperation at this point)
None of these worked. (or I thought they did, as the connection is fine after restarting... until it goes into sleep mode. Then boom, no more internet.)
I'm starting to think the wireless network card might be on the way out, but I hope not. Any suggestions?
