So heres the deal...
After about a month and a half my laptop broke.
Broken screen that has a screen tear, only the screen needs replacing
Broken USB right side doesn't work
They are taking in the system tomorrow and are repairing it and giving it back to me...
Will they need to format my PC for the USB to work again
in theory i should still work as it is the same USB model etc. as before...
Also the screen should still work as it only requires a replacement which is simple enough...
the question is should I have selected for them to be able to format my system or do you think ill be okay there is nothing wrong with the Hard drive itself......
Ideally i need to keep the files that are on the system as I removed the OS and put on Win 7 + all of my important schoolwork is on the system... I have backups but its just a pain to be sorting my laptop out again when im so close to exams and i need as much time as possible to revise.
Thoughts and opinions???
Thanks in advance,
Bidgbob
