will this be good for modern warfare and other current gen games

Hi Alex

It would be helpful if you could let us know what monitor you want to use this system with. Either make/model or resolution/refresh rate is fine. Also, what is your maximum budget?

Pending answers to those questions, here's some smaller advice:
- AMD processors are generally much better value for money than Intel. Would you consider an AMD build?
- Get faster RAM if you can afford it. Getting 2x8GB @ 3200MHz will really help here.
- The £18 Wi-Fi card is much better than the default one, or if you don't need Wi-Fi then you can opt for no card to save £8.
- I don't use Windows at home, but from what I've heard Windows Defender is all the anti-virus you're likely to need, so you don't have to buy Norton as well.
- I can't see what warranty you've gone for, but the £5 Silver warranty is a really good deal if you live in the UK.

my budget is roughly £1000 but moniter is a hp 24w and 23.8 inch. 1920 x 1080.
i guess i could use amd but it's mainly going to be used for gaming.

For your budget you could get something like this. It should work well with your current monitor, and if you want to upgrade in the future the extra capacity in the power supply should means you shouldn't need to buy more than a new monitor and graphics card.

The X570 motherboard is a bit of a luxury. This chipset will support the Ryzen 4000 series CPUs when they're released. If you don't think you'll want to upgrade the CPU then you could go for a cheaper one.
