Hey guys,

Im not in the slightest competant with computor hardware so no judging :p

I am thinking of buying the following set-up and just want to know if anybody thinks the case will be a bad one for a pc that is going to be used mainly for games, movies etc? I would prefer a quiet pc so am going for the case that seems to accommodate this but if anybody has any suggestions as to others I would gladly hear them.

Also any other suggestions to do with the other pieces of hardware go for it, I am looking to have this pc for the next 5+ years so it needs to be somewhat future proof.

Yeh that would probably be helpful :) It is £1000 but that needs to include the platinum warranty as well

Thanks

why platinum? I've whacked in gold, which covers you for two years, you can always upgrade the warranty when you have a little more cash, I just think its worth spending it now on the rig.

I'd go for something like this mate, I aint plug in a wifi card, as i suggest you look into getting homeplugs - sends ya internet through ya house wiring, gives you a booming wired connection with no drop outs.

also What do you plan to connect to the sound card? jsut to let ya know this card is great for analogue gaming headsets.

also with this spec, you can crossfire the gpu's if you dont want to do that in the future, drop the mobo one notch to save the money. (the lower card says its crossfire compatible too, however, I think although could be wrong this mobo is better for crossfire due to pci 3.0 and two 7850's may bottleneck on the older pci2.0)
