Will this laptop over heat? (right thread this time)

I don't see why it should - the hottest component is the CPU and the current Intel chips do run hot, but you've chosen the best thermal paste, a large (17") chassis, and the Recoil is supposed to handle temps well. GPU temps won't be a problem. It's a good idea to keep an eye on dust buildup, and do a CPU re-paste once a year (or whenever you notice temps rise beyond what is considered normal these days)

The CPU will probably get fairly hot, especially with tasks like video editing that will load the CPU up. That's more or less true for all chassis though as Intel's 9th Gen CPUs are just very hot. However, the system should still be able to cope. So agreeing with @markh here

Alright thank you. I would imagine the newest cpu to heat up but not to a dangerous level I hope :/
