Will this spec run dayz, arma 3 and its altis life mod well?

This is going to be my first proper gaming pc and I need it to play the above well and have a little scope for future releases. I am wanting to upgrade as and when money is available, but for now this meets my budget and if any parts need upgrading now then something else would have to be sacrificed. Any thoughts?

It would be helpful if you could outline a specific budget :)
That CPU is not ideal for this budget (I'm guessing your budget is... £700?).
The K on the end of that CPU means that it is unlocked for overclocking. The standard 4690 is cheaper and will perform just as well for your needs.

oh yeah sorry. its around the 1k mark, that is including the mouse keyboard monitor os and office though, the budget without all that for just the tower would be around the 600 mark.

Ok I doubt I would overclock so getting the k would be pointless.

my other concern is the sound card, is that one ok quality wise?

If you were after good audio then an external card and a good pair of stereo headphones would be the way to go.
I find the sound that comes with motherboards to be fine but you could always add a card later on down the line if you weren't happy with it. I'm sure you will be though :)

Got to agree with Keynes,I would just get basic mouse,keyboard etc for now and put it towards a better graphics card,might mean upgrading the PSU but worth it in the long run.

That's fine. You won't need any more than 2gb really for 1080p anyway.
