Windows 10 Home pre installed?

Is it better to have Windows 10 pre installed on the system when being built or is it better to save the money and use the “Installation media” from the Windows website?

I’ve used this before to reinstall Windows on an older system but never done it on a fresh system.

You will still need to pay for a licence if you have not got one already.

If you already have a licence to use, then purchase without windows. they then install a version of windows to test the machine but then you can clean install it when you get the machine.

Even if you buy licence from PCS, then a clean install is always a good start.

Forgot about the whole licence bit, probably just stick with the one from PCS.

Hijack the thread a bit, PCS's windows license come with retail windows box or are baked into motherboard?
If change motherboard then License gone?
I think one can link the license to a Microsoft Account, maybe.
Cheers.

It's a normal OEM license which means it's baked into the BIOS.

Yes, you can link any windows 10 license to a microsoft account and transfer it to another build.
