Considering I am gonna use the hardware to work with Revit, autoCAD, sketchup, and rendering models using Lumion and other softwares for construction, architecture, and Photoshop and for photography, which Windows version would have a better perform?

Windows 8 or Windows 7 Pro Ultimate.

Ps: Congratulations in advance to the PC Specialist team. I liked the website, the system, and all support offered.

Thanks,
Guilherme Monteiro

windows 8 is the better OS, not sure how much it will effect your work though. Which do you like better, windows 8 aint all that bad if you are prepared to learn it.

I would change out that hybrid drive for a 1tb caviar black, the main advantage of the hybrid is the small SSD. You have a 1Tb SSD (which I promise im not jealous of, much...) which takes away that advantage. The caviar black should preform better overall. You can change this at any point up to building. Also drop to the standard 4770 while your at it, 0.1GHz is not going to matter and you might as well save a couple of quid.

but as for which is better, personal preference. I'd go for 8.

Thanks for your opinion mate. It is a bit late to change my hardware now, as I asked fast track, 5 days and the pc is in the testing stage already. They will dispatch soon.

I just did not understand what you said about "takes away that advantage way", what do you mean by that?

I was trying to say, because you have a SSD already, the small SSD on the hybrid drive has almost no reason to exist. Therefore the faster caviar black HDD would have been a better option. Not really a big deal though its splitting hairs in the grand scheme of things.

You will love the rig, enjoy it.
