Just wondering what people put under the 'Model' field when filling out the form.

Ooh I had wondered how you get this £15 upgrade. Could you upgrade then just not install it right away? Im not too keen on installing release day operating systems thats all.

You don't get a copy of the OS till release day I don't think. Or at least I didn't...

Key Dates

You must purchase a qualifying Windows 7 PC between 2 June 2012 and 31 January 2013 to be eligible for this offer. The last day to register and order your Windows 8 upgrade is 28 February 2013.

Seems a 2GB download or you can pay for the DVD.

Also from the FAQ:


"The upgrade offer is tied to a Windows 7 PC purchased between 2 June 2012 and 31 January 2013, but you can choose to redeem the offer and install the upgrade on any compatible Windows-based PC with a qualifying base operating system."
